Removing Stereo/Heater controls.

Does any one have a link on how to remove the stereo? Not sure what part of the face plate pops off, afraid I am going to break something. Searched and read through stickies, and can't find it.

Used to be able to view the directions on http://www.metraonline.com

Not sure if it's still an option. However, it's pretty simple. Use a flathead to pry up the cover around the shifter at the point that is furthest from the front of the car (the very rear of the shifter area). Pull the sleeve just below the shifter head down (pry with flathead). Remove the clip around the shifter head base and pull shifter head off. You, now, can lift the cover off of that console. Be careful of wires.

After that, it's just look for the screws at the bottom of where the stereo is.
