someone put a post that the bose cd might show err when u r using a cheap cd-r. is that true, and what brand would make a "good" cd-r that wouldnt cause problems in the bose?

cdr's normally do ot cause error messages, cdrw's usually do. I have never received an error message with a cdr, and i have used ones from compusa, memorex, office depot. I have never had a problem with any of them.

i was the one that posted that cheap cd-r mite cause err on ur headunit...and i think it was maximadave who agreed with me...altho personally i had never had my bose not play any cdr...but it's a diff story with my sis double din jensen cd/cassette/radio/eq....with a "cheap" cd-r that damn thing will skip thru half the song...but with a more expensive cdr it'll play like a charm...if u look really close at the cd-r and if u can see thru it then that's pretty much a cheap cd-r...i read somewhere u can distinguish good cd-r from cheap cd-r from the color of the disc...i think gold/silver is good and green/blue is cheap...most cd players out there will NOT play cd-rw...
