NEW OWNER! Aux on 06 Bose and sound Quality of new HU
 

Hi,
Just bought a used 06 Max with 105k on the odometer.
i think it has the Bose system non sat 6 cd changer in dash(says bose on the cassette lid). I find it sounds very very good and i dont want to change the sound quality.

So i have two questions:
Cant find a clear answer on how to add aux 3.5mm jack through the in dash 6cd changer or sat. If possible what would be the easiest way of doing this. Dont mind losing cd if it comes down to it.

or

if i change the headunit for say a sony or pioneer...will it still sound as good? If i understand each speaker has its own amp. What would be a good HU and harness so it sounds as good or better than stock.
