having problems with pioneer head unit, after battery died...

i left lights on, battery died.
now my pioneer headunit deh-p8200 is acting weird. The timer that displaces time when headunit is off doesn't show up, its just blank. and when playing music the display screen becomes fuzzy for like 5sec then goes to normal.

what could be the problem, is it the battery or something with HU??

thanks
