Great News, looks like I'll be going to Nationals after all!
I ended up getting the time off from work. Now I just have to finish prepping the car. I'm going to install new front sway bar bushings and end links. I also got some new spark plugs to replace my current ones that have 70K on them.
Bejay and Neal you guys ought to go to the last cendiv at peru. Here's a link to the flyer: http://www.solo2.cendiv-scca.org/2002/8.pdf This will be my last really big event for the year so I have to make this one count. The other 3 I choked at. The Cendiv Championship and the Prosolo my alignment was messed up. The alignment guy didn't tighten down the top bolts on the strut tight enough. So I ended up with a varible camber & toe settings. The Double Point event at my local region I didn't tighten down one of my front lugnuts and two other were missing. Thanks to Mike who let me drive his car I didn't totaly miss out. BTW mike how did the test and tune go? Your car's setup just like mine was earlier this year except for the tires. You did really well at the last event. Keep it up.:) This time I'm going to checked and check again to make sure everything is correct. :D Later Blade |
Good luck Aaron! There's nearly 50 drivers in our class and only one hope for the Maxima community!
P.S. Can't make Peru due to weddings but we'll meet up next year. Going down to Rantoul to practice concrete in Nov :frosty: |
T and T went good man! Greg blew a tire on the way out tere, and his clutch went out and barely made it home. I did OK, I was beating the 300z until his last runs he did really well.
Sorry i have been away from here and everywhere. I hope nationals went well! Thanks for those pics! |
