Rota Slipstreams in 17's

Hey guys I am wondering if anyone has any pic's of the new Rota Slipstream 17's on a max. I have the 15's on my SE-R's and love them, just saw that they have come out with them in 17x8 & 17x8.5 (which I believe are new sizes) I'am thinking of using them as a summer/track set for the max but want to see what they would look like (Gun Metal w/polished lip).

Also anyone know what the widest tire/rim I can squeeze under there? Would 8.5 and 255's be pushing it? I do have D2's which opened up alot more clearance on the backside of the rim.

Stay away from Rotas, they will crack and break and send you flying off the road.;)

You can fit almost any wheel/tire combo you can afford under there. I'm using 265's in front with unspecified wheel width and offset. That's the key to making it fit.

What? I have 3 sets of rota's of different types for my SE-R's and never have had any problems. I also know that Spainard on here runs slipstreams on his 4th gen and pounds his car alot more than I do and again has had no problems. Please backup your statement with examples.

could you please also specify your wheel width and offset? The Rota 17x8.5 and 17x8's both come in 48mm offsets.

It took a lot of time and $ to fit my front properly and clear my huge brake, so that's why i don't give out wheel specs. But the sizes you listed will fit on our car, but a bit too high offset for us, as they're directed towards Scooby's. The steering response and wheel return won't be as good.

I've got the Royal Gunmetal in 16's. I'll be putting em on Sunday for the first time and will grab a pic if it helps.
