URemco remanufactured injectors
 

Ordered 6 last year at $20/piece. They sent me injectors that looked bad.
these injectors had a bad smell of some type of oil on them.
I put them in and immediately had issues cranking the engine.
they worked ok for 2 days then I was driving to the mall to get lunch and the car began bogging down then blowing grey smoke.
I had smoke coming from under the hood too. I knew immediately what it was.
When I got bAck home I ran the engine and pulled the plug on each injector and figured out #2,#4 had no response.
when I pulled the rail I noticed the fuel leaking from the end of the injector.
i eventually ordered all new Hitachi injectors and all has been great since!
I did test the bad injectors direct from a 550 amp battery before installing them. But in my Toyota manual this is how they illustrate jumping them off.
it only takes the amps it needs right?
so they gave me a complete refund and were nice about it but I think it ignited my pre cat because I had a TWC light blinking.
I wished I would be just ordered new injectors on the first place!
