How are these meguiar's products
 
I can get meguirs #7 polish and #26 wax from my place of employment at cost......are these good products for getting a nice wax on my car?? Thanks!

Yes, as far as I have heard they are both good products, but you may want to also consider a mild polish such as #9 Swirl Remover, since #7 actually isn't a "polish" as people tend to think of, and is actually a glaze that just makes the paint look pretty by filling in imperfections.

Also, keep in mind that #26 liquid will be easier to use, but paste versions of waxes tend to be longer lasting. Either way, apply it very thinly.

For a full complete detail, it'd go: Wash, clay, polish, glaze, wax.

also whats really good is the meguiars three step wax system, 1 is a paint cleaner, 2 is a polish, and 3 is a carbuiana wax. I work on the weekends doing details at detail shop and car wash. :grinno: Using Meguiars vinyl/ rubber on the trim to revive it, also if you get wax on the plastic, use meguiars vinyl / rubber protectant. You won't notice it
