Who says 213,000 miles and a max can't look this good :) (56k Killa)

Hey guys, thought i'd show off my sister's max. It had hail damage a few weeks ago and we got it back from the paintless dent repair show and they polished and waxed it for us. It looks AMAZING, its weird not to see any dents for how old it is. The paint turned out really good. We always kept it waxed. So check it out!

Looking good. Those PDR places can perform miracles.

all three of those maxes are looking hot! my mom's 2k SE has 203K and isn't looking quite as good as your sister's (though, close) but that't just because the inconsiderate rich doctors she works with....it seems like every time i wash her car there's another dent or scratch from when she parks her car at the hospital  But her paint chips dont look QUITE as bad as they do on that black paint, cuz she has sterling mist, so it sort of blends (only on the hood/fenders..on the bumper all you see is black primer...) anyways, nice looking maxes you got there, and nice job on keeping them clean!

Thanks guys. Too bad my dad's max wasn't very clean at all...oh well.

Its the Pacesetter cattback...yeah it sticks out a bit. No worries cause i'll end up getting a new catback next summer as i don't think the pacesetter will last the winter without rusting out. THanks for compliments :)

How many dents were there, and how much did it cost to fix? I'm asking because my car has many hail damage dents, and i'd like to get them removed if its not too expensive.

There were a lot of dents in the car. Mainly on the sides where people are careless with their doors. There was a fist mark in the hood and a couple dings fromt the hail, and a few on the roof. Insurance will take care of all of it (-minus deductable ofcourse), but the whole job was billed at $900. It was almost a good thing it got hailed on :). We obviously spent some money on it, but not the 900$. We had the whole car done, but if you want its cheaper to just do the worse spots.

4x4Max Jun 30, 2005 09:54 PM

There really isnt apoint of dong the "worse spots" because the whole car has equal size little hail dents.

Poowill Jul 3, 2005 05:00 PM

but most of the time the hail around here is pebble sized with bigger ones mixed in. So there can be some big dents in certain spots. Either way you might as well do the whole car, its like having a brand new max!! :)
