Any ideas/suggestions how to get this off my seat?
I'm trying to keep my 09' looking at new as I can and the other day when cleaning it, I noticed this area near the bottom of my driver's seat that looked at first like just a dirty area that I'd be able to easily knock out with some leather cleaner, but it did not budge one bit. I even tried a small amount of purple magic just to see if it might be some tough grease or dirt that it might break up...still no good. I'm attaching a pic I took with my phone with really doesn't show it all that well, but maybe you can at least see the darker area. It's starting to be an eyesore to me and something that bugs me. I'm not sure if whatever got it there in the first place is going to continue to make it worse, but I'd really like to find a way to get it clean again. Hopefully someone will have some ideas.

I've used it on my own leather and it works great. A little work goes a long way with those things so there probably won't be a need to scrub like a mad man. Follow up with some leather conditioner after.

well it must be something stubborn because it didn't budge at all with the magic eraser =/ i started pretty easy but then got slightly more aggressive just to see if it would make a difference, but nothing. any chance the tan color has actually come off that area and im actually looking at the leather underneath? i woudlnt think so.

get some meguiars leather cleaner and conditioner...spray it..let it sit for a minute, then try it, then you might be able to go back w/ the magic eraser...either way, once its off..make sure the leather is conditioned

Well just wanted to update...no amount of persuading with Meguiars or magic eraser has made even the slightest impact on the dark area of my seat. I'm starting to think maybe what I'm looking at is the tan color that has come off of that area and not actual stain or grease that can be removed. Is this possible? If so, I'm considering seeing if I can get it handled under warranty as a manufacturer's defect before my warranty runs out. Does anyone know if the underlying color (under the tan) is the darker color I'm seeing? Just trying to figure out if this is indeed what's happening.
Thanks!
Thanks!
