predicting SMOG results w/ a dyno slip?

i'm wondering if there's any relationship between the two... specifically the air/fuel ratio. I had a dyno done last month and I just got a notice from DMV requiring a smog check.

Can I tell or at least hint if my car is goin to make it or not by looking at the air/fuel ratio from my dyno chart?

I am only assuming this because I really don't know but...

...With the a/f ration running really rich as far as fuel is then I would assume the smog levels are higher. When Maximas lose one of the front o2 sensors or gets some other kind of performance-affecting CEL then it goes into 'safe' mode and runs the car rich. My belief is that when the car is running rich then it is not converting exhaust gasses to 'acceptable' emissions standards.

nope, because u'll be doing 15mph roll and then 25mph at the highest gear, so u will be revving under 2,000rpm the whole time. ur dyno is recorded above 3,000rpm to redline, which is irrelevant to smog's dyno.

i was dyno on 4th gear in my auto (od/on). i wouldn't stress about it. just make sure you have ur JWT CARB sticker ready that's all

p.s. i passed with ghost 0304
