Intake dyno advice
I'd like to get a baseline for stock, and also with the intake installed (not sure which brand I'm gonna buy yet). Will the numbers be accurate if I do 3 pulls with the stock setup, and a couple pulls right afterwards after swapping intakes on the dyno?
I know you have to reset the ecu since you should unplug the maf, so is there a period of driving time that needs to be given for the computer to adjust? Could I just leave the maf plugged in the sensor, swap the intakes, and re-dyno? I'm just tryin to save a couple bucks and a little hassle by getting it done all at once. If its gonna skew the results I'll go on separate occasions. BTW its gonna be on my gf's 03 Auto SE. |
Just get the results on the same day. Pay attention to the a/f ratios to see what the MAF is doing w/ the intake.
