New Dyno - 120kw's (mevi,y,pod,exhaust)
120kw's ATW (160HP)
-Mevi 5300rpm -exhaust 2.5" + Y (2" pipes to 2.5" collector) -pod Check out the torque increase.. and power gains across the range even before MEVI kicks in https://img179.imageshack.us/img179/...ay07ty7.th.jpg Red line = 5300rpm MEVI Blue line = 5500rpm MEVI Green line = 4900rpm MEVI (stock exhaust from Y pipe back (no cat)) Kicking myself for not trying 5100rpm - worth it?? They dyno'd with the Snow traction control setting to prevent kickdown - wasn't thrilled at that. https://img412.imageshack.us/img412/...roldsc0ek6.jpg Can't help but think that I should be making more power given that I have MEVI :/ |
I don't understand why you made peak HP at redline stock and now it's almost 700 rpm less. You sure the mevi is working correctly?

But don't let that stop anyone else chiming in with some info Could my exhaust be just to big for car? ( I did gain in torque, no?) 2" pipes to 2.5" collector (Y) + 2.5" resonator + 2.25" resonator + 2.5" piping to 2.5" inlet straight through muffler. (2.25" resonator added as it was just to loud.) |
Exhaust should be fine, I am thinking the solenoid or vacuum canister might be bad on your VI
