Well I did alot of research before going to the dyno dynamics place instead of just hitting a dynojet. It's pretty widely believed that you can get alot better tuning on a dynamics than even a mustang dyno, but they read the lowest numbers out of ANY dyno and is called "the heartbreaker dyno"

Most people who have gone back to back from a dynojet to dyno dynamics make anywhere from 18-25% less power on the dyno dynamics.

Those are just ballpark figures and not perfect, but my car definately feels like a 240-250whp car and definately has the mods to pull that kind of power.

The operator at the shop that I went to told me that they've had plenty of 350zs that didn't break the 200 whp mark on that dyno, so I feel alot better about the low numbers.

Mods:
Cattman headers/ypipe/fastcat
custom 3" maf/short ram intake out of PVC
NWP IM spacers
VAFC-II now fully tuned

In any case, my AF was all over the place!!! On the first run, it shifted up and down between 14.5 and 12.0 about 4 times. I have no idea what's up with it being so jaggy, but I got it pretty flat at 13.4-13.9 by the time I was done. Thank god for having 24 tuning points, I really needed them all.

I'm going to get pics up of the dyno sheets soon, no runfiles with this one.

I'm not toofamiliar with it, but is it similar to a Mustang dyno, where the vehicles parameters are crucial to power values?

Tuned as compared to un-tuned....

I don't think vehicle parameters are a very big deal on the dyno dynamics... they just use very different correction factors than dynojet dynos.

It was a tailpipe sniffer, and he was very perplexed trying to put it into my flowmaster muffler (has a chamber right at the tip)

Yeah, but the fact is that they correct more harshly on the dyno dynamics (as well as making lower numbers in the first place).

The guy at B.R.E motorsports that operated the dyno said he's been a representative for dyno dynamics for several years, and said if I wanted to be very conservative, I could correct 15% for a dynojet, but alot of times they run as much as 25% higher. His "ricer math" estimation was anywhere from 245-250whp if I'd run on a dynojet. He even called it ricer math, I got a good laugh out of it

I'm going to the track tonight (freaky friday at fayetteville open 'till sunrise tomorrow morning!!!!) and we'll see if the gains are there. Last time I ran a 14.3@96 and I'm hoping to at least break 13s and 100 mph, who knows.

I ran a 14.1@99 with a 2.6 60' lol... They had spectators all over the burnout box and I had to go through the water then spun all through 1st/2nd and even some in 3rd. I think with a normal 2.0/2.1 60' that I was pulling at rockingham I'd have been well into the 13s and low 100s.
