Damn bro 10.50 a gallon for race fuel? Our 103 is 5.99 and our 110 is 6.25. I usually run that .

I've paid $6.50 / gal for Sunoco 104 at the tracks, but the VP Racing local distributor sells the unleaded 103 for $10.50 /gal - and I'll find out about the unleaded 109 later today. These are Motor Octane ratings...

Their Motorsport 109 unleaded is the best they have for nitrous and lots of boost, and I figure I'm buying BOOM! insurance with these fuels, so "you gotta pay if you want to play"...

The car is loaded on the trailer, I have a couple of 5-gal jugs of unleaded Motorsport 109 and a stuffed 15lb bottle of nitrous, the M&H slicks and the Hoosier slicks, a completely functional Shift_Fast_3 for nitrous control and bang-shifting the tranny, so come 3PM tomorrow I'm coming back to the house and hooking up and loading all the toys, and off I go to KCIR... 12 tires are aired up as well.

That 109 costs $12.00/gal - whew.. $200 today for 14 1/2 lbs of nitrous and 10 gals of 109. Of course I'm just using one jug tomorrow, but ..... we shall see.

No track photos or videos either - I always travel alone, it seems.

Hah! if you're referring to my grandson in an old pix I posted, he's nine and lives in Dallas TX. Not much hope there for today's trip.

Oh yeah, a KC maxima guy "EnervinE" wanted to know when I was going to be in town - I'll PM him right now...

Good idea..

Sounds good - I can always use some tips. Traction is still a problem for me.

A bad day at the track still beats a good day at work.

Check here for our local schedule: http://hpt.com/store/catalog/

Have you ever visited the Tulsa track? I was thinking about going there, after I drove to Collinsville OK to get a new transmission. It's not a bad drive for me, even with the trailer... about 5 hours..

Yes I've been there a few times. Very very nice track. Just got redone last year. I ran there last year but my fuel pump started going out so it wasn't a good day. But the track is nice, the whole parking lot is concrete, nice bleachers. Nice and sticky and very well taken care of. I will be up there for the Import Faceoff event Sunday September 20th.. You should come out..

Yeah... my schedule is open then, and I should have the new engine finished and installed. I need a few more road trips this year - this sounds like a good one. I will try to make it.

KCIR is having their Import Faceoff on Sep. 6th. - that's on my list. The Wichita strip is having a Fusionworks Friday Night Import Race on Oct. 16. Hummm.. I better schedule some time off from work.

Sounds good. I may be game for the October 16th deal.. Wichita is maybe 2 hours from Edmond so it shouldn't be all that bad.. You can shoot for Tulsa and I'll meet you there and I will shoot for Wichita and you can meet me there

Sounds like a plan - of course lots can happen in between, but I'm going to plan for those dates.
