Wow that's nasty! How much "roughly" would a build or similar setup like this cost the average Joe? Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

 Very nice!

Nice choice on the ecu. I recently decided to get a pro-128 for my current build.

How much did the jenvey itb setup end up costing you?

We did some minor modifcations to the hood to make sure the horns indeed fit,

I will test fit mines on my 6th gen , Thank You Kevin for doing what others were scared to try , hopefully we will see more All Motor guys with ITBs.

315 without breaking a sweat , im sure some more tuning and we gain another 8-9whp

Anyways 3rd Gear is killer, pulls very very very hard !!

(you got me there now until I got boost = D)

Anyways we'll catch up and do some more work

ooooo wee!!! Inspiration.... Loving it.

Badass! I was thinking about making an all motor VQ drag car.
If you break into the 11s I think that you will be the fastest all motor VQ35 in existence.

I think you should get some custom ground cams from kelford and run some serious lift and duration. Then you could take advantage of those awesome 320cfm heads! :D

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but are you just going to be running those ITBs open to the world? Don't tell me the engine bay will protect them

I've seen some cage-reinforced foam filters that tend to work really well on ITBs being on other forums.

Making a custom intake shroud for them seems optimal, but I doubt you could make one that wouldn't affect the VE and change your numbers/curve.

What are you spinning the motor to?

Wow...impressive! I am doing an all out n/a build as well right now, should be done in a month or so, but I am spinning to 10000 rpm. I have to spin that high to try to achieve my power goal of 290whp n/a. I say this because although the motor I am doing is only a 2.5 I find it very impressive that you make that much power n/a only spinning to 8000!

Great work!

Also, have you considered running an electric vacuum pump to try and help reduce windage and help the rings seal even better...?

High power does not necessarily mean high rpms... The highest power N/A VQ35s in the world only rev to 7500-8500 depending on displacement.

I realize this..granted the VQ is a much more potent motor to build, and doesn't rev like a KL...In my case is does mean high-rpm, because the motor has a very short stroke and likes to rev.

So..comparing the two I suppose is not fair, but I am still amazed at the n/a power at such a modest rpm.

You are building a KL? Those motors are badass! Rod/stroke ratio is insane.
Im sure you have seen this guys. I would copy his build lol.

Best sounding V6 ever!

Haha...yeah. I know leo, he is a good guy. He has helped me some with getting the oiling system setup on my car, and I have been helping him with questions to get his motor converted over to solid lifter and such.

He about a month and a half ago went 11.20 @ 120...on stock heads and hydraulic lifters/cams. He should be clear of 300 when it goes back together. My build is very similar to his old setup, except I am running 250 duration @ .050 and .385 lift (a little more lift and duration) and I am already solid lifter. I am also running a vacuum pump, custom longtubes, and completely worked over heads. I am shooting for 300 n/a, he is going to be over 300 n/a..but mine is a street car his is not.

I'll post pics in a couple months when I fire it up. PM me if you would like to know more.

Back to topic..sorry.
