03 I35 4AT Dyno

I had a chance of putting my 03 I35 4AT on the dyno today. I am kind of curious to know why the difference between the max horsepower and the max torque since most dyno graphs i see here are almost the same. Also, can anybody confirm if these numbers seem right for my car and mods, i tried looking around but theres barely any auto dynos with no tune in here. Any opinion is appreciated. Thank you

max power was 209.52
max torque was 230.15

Mods are as follow:
Gutted precats and main cat
Custom Cold air intake with a aem filter on the drivers wheel well
CXJ 3 pcs Phenolic Intake Spacers
CXJ BOP
2 degree timing advance
Knock sensor resistor 560k ohms bypass

A dyno measures just torque. Horsepower is calculated from those numbers as: Torque X Horsepower / 5252. The two curves always cross at 5252 RPM on the dyno sheet.

Breathing mods tend to give more HP, at higher RPM's. I was similar to you when I first started, I was at about 210 and 225 or so.

Most recently I was at 257/245 or something like that, and as I tracked my progress, my hp slowly began out pacing my torque. 210/225, 233/230, 242/238, 247/242, 257/245.

From all the research i have done on the forums i think the only breathing mod i have left to do is a Y-Pipe and possibly changing out the gutted precast for actual headers, but i have read that the difference won't justify the price. From the numbers you told me i see you went from 210 to 233 which is a great jump, and the biggest of all, was this achieved tuning with a VAFC? i am hoping to get closer to the 240HP mark but i believe that i have to definitely have to move towards a VAFC to achieve this. Anyways that is a great car you have keep it up! Members like you inspired me to get into this maxima game!

That is why i didnot point it out on the first post, the only mods that the car has is what it says there... i think the #s seem right for those mods.

This probably needs an update and a cleanout but in any case, should help answer a few questions for you.
