HELP!!!! brake fluid mixed with power steering fluid

could somebody please help me here. I was topping up my fluids and by accident i stuck a bit of brake fluid in my power steering resevoir. after i noticed i did a bad thing, i sucked out all the fluid in the container with a giant eye dropper. now i don't know the density of the brake fluid but i was wondering whats going to happen if there is still some left in the resevoir???. and what is going to happen to my power steering?????. do i need a flush?? and how do i do it???

thanks a million:
chris

I would flush it out... brake fluid is nasty on paint so I don't think leaving it in is gonna be good.

I guess it depends how much you put in. You could just keep doing the "partial" change by emptying the reservoir and refilling it with ATF...

A complete flush s/b less than $100

If its just a little you dropped in it and you'r car wasnt running or you didnt run your car at all after putting the fluid in then its safe to say that the brake fluid was still in the resivour. So emptying the resivour and replace that with proper fluid should be good enough!

If you drove your car or the car was runinng then get it flushed!

the resevoir only has half the fluid. Of course if you emptied it before you drove the car or even started it all the brake fluid is still in the resevoir...

1. Empty the resevoir w/ a turkey baster or something.
2. Re-fill it.
3. Start car, turn steering wheel left-right and right-left all the way a few times.
4. Turn car off, add more ATF/Power Steering Fluid
5. Start car again, and turn the wheel again.

Wait a few days, repeat same process.

Can't power steering fluid and brake fluid be interchanged without worry on most cars? I thought that was the case not that log ago, but I'm not so sure with newer cars.
