Penzoil Synethic, Jiffy Lube

Jiffy Lube only carries Penzoil Synethic oil. How is the quality of this oil. I asked for Mobile 1, but they don't carry. They charge $49.99 for the oil change. How is Jiffy Lube service?

Jiffy Lube service is a crap shoot.

Pennzoil Synthetic is not a relatively good synthetic. Its additive package isn't all that good.

I would take my own Mobil 1 oil in there and pay for the standard service.

Thanks Bill. I just went to BJ's and bought a box of mobil 1 ss 5W-30 for $23. It has 6 bottles of 1 qt.

I will do my own oil change.

I've had several poor experiences w/ Jiffy Lube. On several occasions they've performed some kind of additional service on my car when I told them not to. Of course, they charged me for the service, but were nice enough to take off $10. :slap: Considering they offer $5 off coupons in the mail, basically I've been screwed several times.

I'll go to the dealer for an oil change before I go back to Jiffy Lube.
