2012 Maxima oil change question

I have a 2012 Maxima SV I bought new about a year ago and I have 1900 miles on it now. It is always garaged and babied. I live in North Dakota so there are cold winters. The nearest dealership is about a 2 hr drive and I am wondering if I should schedule my first oil and filter change or wait for the 3750 mile recommendation.I don't want to push it but am thinking maybe next spring.Any input would be nice. Thanks guys!:D

Wow 1900 miles in a year! I'd be more concerned with checking your tire pressure with such limited driving and frequent temp changes more than oil at this point.

But now that your looking ahead just go get it done at the dealership, usually they include the 1st oil change for free. They'll also run it through a multi point inspection.

Get it changed now. Your oil will collect moisture/condensation over time that will lead to the formation of acids in the oil and result in corrosion. Recommend you change it twice per year, spring and fall.

I used to live outside of Grand Forks many years ago before it was built up, so I appreciate what you mean about the distance between dealerships...I used to have to travel to Fargo if I needed to visit the Dealer.
