Maxima street racing on America's Most Wanted
 

Did anyone here watch America's Most Wanted today?? There was a gold 95/96 max street racing in the footage against an older gen eclipse.

It was a beat up max with a messed up right passengers door and stock GXE(?) rims.

I know you east-coasters already had this show on fox today...I just wanted to see if anyone noticed it.

I started recording the street racing part (first part of show) kind of late so I dont have the whole clip..I wanted to put it up online but I didnt get the whole thing and it was kinda cheesy anyway

Actually they showed it twice! I was trying to figure out what the other car was, thanks for settling my mind.

It was shot at an odd angle, from the rear right; and it was very brief. The max had at least two people in it, and looked like it took the lead from the line.

guess i'm not the only one that noticed!

i saw it too, just now.. pacific time..there were a buncha kida in the maxima and one white kid waving out the window the the other car in the race..pretty lame lol.

Yeah,looks like the Max had the Jump. after the start,they cut away from the race so you didn't see who won.

I caught that. It was in the begining of the street racing.

There was also someone in the back seat as well (total of 3 in car). Why would you have passengers when racing, it will only make you slower!! Yeah the guy in the passenger seat waving is always the guy who is Johnny Shotgun because he doesn't own a car.

Did you see the one race gone bad where the guy pulled a gun!!

It kind of reminded me how stupid I was in my early 20's when I used to go out the races on Tues. Thurs. and Sat!!

None of you must of seen the beginning of the program where John Walsh explains what NOS is and they had a "bottle of racing juice" which remarkably resembled an enormous scuba-diver's tank. I thought that was the funniest part of all.

haha, I saw that part. he picked up a yellow scuba-divers tank that wasnt laying in some ugly integra's trunk.

About that guy who pulled a gun on AMW, its scary. I have heard second hand of this happening in my area. A 40+ guy pulled a gun when he lost a race and shots were fired :( No one was hurt...so I heard. I havent been to the "races" in over a year. I am pretty young but I already understand how stupid people act over their cars. Ego's are bigger than NOS bottles. People will do anything to "win".

That's a big reason why I don't race with my car. Another reason is because my car is slooooooooow :)

You need a camera man!!and if your spraying like SX7R your good the pull is incredible:D !!Telling stories is all good but is better to post the video and let it tell the story!!!

I've never recorded myself racing an Eclipse. Actually ... I don't think I've ever even raced an Eclipse.

And I are not white. :D
