Good old Cadillac's

I was on my way back from Virginia Tech this weekend rolling along in my 2k2 Max when I see a huge new Cadillac coming up fast. Old guy driving it. I let him pass as I saw many cops on the way down there. I followed him for over an hour. As he switched lanes and took off, I followed up to 110 at one time. The Caddy had amazing pickup. I guess us Americans can make some good cars:)

That should read, "I guess we Americans make some good cars."

Which Caddy was it? STS, DTS, Cimmaron/Catera/CTS?

I'm not sure what Caddy it was. I couldn't find a name on it. All I know is that it was fairly new and very large.

GM is good at making cars with good torque/horsepower, not at making good cars. My buddy's new '99 Cadillac was in the shop every 2 weeks for a year until he gave up on it. He said it was the biggest POS he'd ever driven.

Wait, I can't rip on Cadillacs too much...
I had a '76 Cadillac Coupe DeVille my grandpa left me that I sold to my Dad. It still has 32,000 original miles and is in excellent condition (power everything,AC,leather). 500 CUBIC INCH engine! Only about 200 hp though w/ all the restriction on intake and exhaust. He's selling it for under 5k if anyone wants it.

Cimmaron
hehe

I actually saw a Cimmaron at my university last year. Peeked in the window with curiosity and sure enough, 'twas a manual tranny.
