While I was surfing at LS1.com I ran into this dyno chart. The only difference between both runs is the fact that the higher stall torque convertor is unlocked. Although he lost some toppend power, the gain in torque is more than enough. I figure just wire in switch into the lockup control line from the TCU, then activate the lock up control around like 5500rpm so you can keep your toppend power.

As far as I know, the torque convert stays unlocked during accleration anyways. It only locks when you are in constant throttle cruising...
