This car has an LS1 V8 inside:

FYI Holden is an GM's austalian-market division. They make some verrrry nice cars.

So I guess that means all the GM designers with good taste have moved to Australia...why else would all the US-market GM products look like crap?

You know what?

Holden also has a similar 4-door model that's just a Cadillac Catera. You could make your own right here with an engine swap...

Except this car...

looks far better than a Catera and has a lot more power!

I wasn't too impressed with the CAtera's I've been in.

Yeah, Catera's are boats. I'm surprised Caddy makes a high performance FWD car but such a ****ty RWD car..

Anybody seen the Commodore GTS-R?

It's a thing of beauty. It's a swet "saloon" as htye call 'em across the pond. CAR magazine did a "Super Saloon Shootout" 2 months ago...comparing the Holden Commodore GTS-R, the BMW M5, and the Mercedes E55 (which was seriously out gunned).

It was cool. I could scan some pics and whatnot if folks wanted me to. Man, I'd take either the Holden or the Beemer! Both 400hp, 6spd, top speeds over 150mph, and doing 0-60 in under 5.3! (5.3 on the BMW, 5.1 on the Holden)
