check your brake fluid level for the brake warning light, i'm not sure about your battery warning light.....maybe loose connection or alternator going bad... hope this helps

Battery AND brake Light??

It could very well be your alternator.

Brake and battery lights together indicate you have a problem with your charging system. Normally they both come on, which indicates you alternator died. If there flashing together, I'm going to assume that the volatge regulator within the alternator has trouble and you may be overcharging! Overcharging can do some damage to your entire electircal system.

*chuckle*...i've seen this too many times. It's likely to be the alternator.

I second that. I think it's the alternator. Battle Max, watch out!! Because when the alternator dies completely and you happen to be driving when when it does, your car will be running off of your battery. The battery might be able to last for a few hours but when IT goes... you will soon be stranded.

once it starts sucking your battery, you better hope your battery's strong, or it'll die and you're SOL. In addition, even after you get the alternator replaced, better hope the battery's in good condition that it'll recharge itself!
