Are all of the used 2002's out their previous rentals

A friend of mine and I went looking for a used 02 like mine and it seems everywhere we went when they pulled the records it shows Fleet/Commercial vehicle which means previous rental of 8 cars 7 were.. I was just curious if that is the case, because it is a ton of used 02's out their.

Fleet/Commerical doesn't necessarily mean it was a rental car. It could have been a car that a business leased for one of their employees.

Some of the old lease paperwork was mistakenly left in the glove compartment of my 99 that verified this....

02 Maxima autos did seem to be popular in the rental fleets, though, so be careful....

we tested a 02 vs 98 SCed that someone rented, and made a video out of it, just letting you know what some folks do when they rent a car. Rentals are usually pushed to their limits as well i.e...90plus MPH.

What else do you expect as far as used 02s?

There might be a few from people that broke out of leases early, but....

Enterprise Rent-A-Car buys a huge load of Maximas every year. They always buy 02 SE's with the auto and power options (no moonroof). For 03 however, they upgraded to SE Maximas with the sunroof. By the way, I work for the company and trust me, NEVER buy a rental!

Good point but I doubt, they will lower their price.

Enterprise Rentals........

When I worked for Enterprise Rent-a-car,(I quit this past April), we had many 2002 Nissan Maxima SE's in our fleet. As far as my region is concerned (Western Connecticut/Eastern NY)our purchasing manager bought one's equipped with no sunroofs, no Bose system, cloth interior, no heating package. Maybe this can help you identify what was a rental car or not! Hope this helps a lil' bit! Lata!

any commercial vehicle will be prematurely worn, not only rentals. but why would anybody want to buy a used car that is like a year old? go for at least a 2 year one. price tends to drop a lot by the 2nd.
