This is after about 3400 miles on the oil (Penzoil syn). Bill should be happy, I'll be sending out an oil analysis tomorrow. :) The magnet is 3/16 inch cube, neodymium and gold plated (picked a few of them up from ebay a while back). I used a drop of epoxy to make it stay in place. I've installed it about a year ago and its still working great. Catches the really fine particles, maybe smaller than what the filter can trap. |
