so i decided to check out the scene one last time in louisville last night.. hit up the hot spot around 12-1am last night (sat) and after checking out everything and watching the cops everywhere, and police helicopters haha i was layin pretty low... after figuring out how everything worked, i rolled up to the area many were parked and the cops weren't giving any trouble, MANY mustangs.

after a few minutes of checkin stuff out and hearing the normal bs everyone talks, i asked who was the fastest car there. its a pretty unanimous decision thats its this cobra. i talked to the owner later on he listed off all the crap he has done, i dont remember it all, and finally ask if he wants to race. he thought i had a 240sx and i was like nah, that maxima. he doesnt even bother to ask what im running, and shockingly says he will agree to race from a roll, no money. so we both ride out and pick up the interstate for two runs. first run i waited for him to go before i got on it, a mistake, esp. w/ turbo. second run around , we do the classic honk and both go at same time - this is the video i have. keep in mind they run stock what 12.9 @ 111mph ?

need windows media player, and if that doesnt work get the latest version from microsoft.com for free.

the info everyone wants to know: i am at ~10psi, mevi was turned OFF (my new gear ratios don't work well with my mevi setup presently, gettin it fixed), no muffler just 3" mandrel pipe out the back w/ highflow cat (new exhaust setup coming..).

wow.. that's an awesome kill, congrats.. new tranny must be helping a lot, you should really go racing when you have all your parts connected and working too.

12.9 @ 111 is slow for an 03 cobra. They are in mid 12s easily and typically trap about 114, but I've heard of them trapping as high as 117.

this guy, i wish i could remember the crap he listed but my memory is not so good as anyone who knows me knows haha .. exhaust offroad something pipe, cai, ignition booster? i dont remember i got all their mustang jumbo mixed up haha he spoke of gears and cams but i dont know if he had them, and gears would not have helped from a roll lik that though anyways... sorry, kinda a wildcard.

i think he is just showing the supra heads how fast the TC max is paired up with a cobra(similar performance to BPU(?) supras)

True. When I was at the track a few months ago testing out my SC, I spoke to a '03 Cobra owner. He said he ran a 12.6 bone stock. Even he was surprised by the result. He thought it was a high 12s stock.

Their was one at the track last weeked, a convertable running slicks, it ran an 12.0et. I have no idea of its mods. I was impressed.

how do you think you would have done from a stop instead of a roll?

bad. thats why i asked if he wanted to race from a roll :) he was thinkin why not he was on street tires too haha, see who had more power instead of who has better traction (him im sure)

You'd also have boost at a roll too, right? I'm just guessing, because I don't know how much lag your setup has.:gotme:

3psi @ 1500, full boost @2500rpm ? :kiss: i'd have boost off the line , and i actually do ok off the line (see track video), i just figured its rwd, and an absolute torquey beast - so might as well avoid any traction issues if its as easy as saying "from a roll" and him agreeing.

yes i did and 1/2 the people there wouldnt believe i won even when he said i did haha.. and trust me i had people wanting to race after that

spanishrice: I had no muffler if you read the description and the windows were up... so my exhaust basically covered all haha, and as far as not going fast? well count the gears buddy and do the math... and if you get bored, it is even on the title screen, 2nd-5th.
