bubble in tire? whats happening
#2
it is there because the inside lining of the tire has a hole/gash in it and that is the air within the tire making that bubble pop out. Its really not that bad, but if something hits it hard enough it will pop. (i.e. curb)
There is nothing you can do about it

I had that happen alot this winter here in MA, gotta love New England winters!!! But my bubble was the size of a baseball! Its just a weak spot in the tire from say getting pinched between the rim and the hole. Be lucky that you didnt bend the rim. And i just went and looked at my tires and found 2 bubbles in them! Thank god for free road-hazard replacement. Thats gonna be 3 new toyo's in a month.

I know that in New England, Town Fair Tire does not have Road Hazard protection on performance tires when I went to my 18inch rims. I assume it's the same policy for other stores.
