brakes! it's that time again.....
i just found out i need brakes for the front and the rear.....driving on 19" sure uses up the brakes fast....i'm constantly braking/ dodging the potholes and bumps....
what's a good pad to use these days? i was going to go to nissan to change them but they want 130 for the front and 90 for the rear! that's kind of high for genuine nissan parts. hows the after market pads? |
Thai with a show car don't you want some hot stoppers under those 19"s? Why not go for a big brake kit or atleast crossdrilled/slotted rotors? www.EatRiceZone.com has a sweet package for 5 bills and some change, might wanna check that out.

show car?
no sir/ my car is complete stock now with big chrome rims/my gf likes it that way. my gf uses regular pads. no cross drilled or big kit for me.
i drive a crown vic now. |
Get the carbon metalic pads from AutoZone. There cheap and everybody loves them.
I run the Stillen Setup and love it. But if your not into x-drilled, plated bla bla bla, then just look into the Axxis Metal Master pads. They stop great with much less dust. |
Re: brakes! it's that time again.....
Don't take it to the dealer to change them! Do it yourself. Anyways, if you want a cheap pad thats good you can try the Raybestos Quiet Stop or the Bendix IQ. I actually may have a set of new Bendix IQ rear brake pads in my garage. I can let go for them cheap. I think they are still there. If you're interested let me know. I'll go look. Last time I checked I had them because I got them and never installed them.
