Cryo'd Tranny parts, anyone?
Ok, I've been wondering if anyone has had any tranny parts cryo treated lately. Just wondering:
How was the turn around time on getting it done? do you think it was worth getting done? I'm setting money aside from every paycheck and was wondering if this was the best way to go for stonger tranny parts or, which i know will probably be a lot more expensive, would getting new parts made out of stronger material be a better idea? TIA for any opinions you might have. -Jason |
I had this done. Put it this way- cryo'd gears lasted over a year. The non cryo'd 3rd gear after I blew that one it lasted only a month.
I got mine done at a place just down the road, so the turnaround time was fast and no shipping. |
