Last night while messing around I took a turn....90 degrees from one city block to the next at like 30. Well the car plowed ahead but made the turn.....massive understeer etc.
Anyway, today I go to clean the inside of my car and I check the driver side front tire. WOW.....there are scuff marks HALF way down the sidewall. This is ofcourse with the wonderful 205/55 ballon tires. Half way.....wow:) Will the fact that I'm using 7.5in z rims over 6.5inch rims from a newer max give me better handling with the same size tire? I'm gonna use a 225/50 sp8000. I'm thinking it will "fit" better on the 7.5 and give "better" overall handling. True? Last question....does the fact that my current 65 series tires roll so much cause some of the body lean? I DO have Eibach/toks but the car still seems to lean a good bit even in moderate turns. |
try increasing the air pressure in the tires. It will give a harsher ride, but will keep the tire from rolling as much.
