Ot But I Believe....

This is off topic but i i've been thinking and, i believe the 5th gen max (if the 6th isn't faster) is the 3rd fastest japanese N/A car (1st-350z/2nd-G35 and they're still both Nissan)..if im right then the max actually demands more respect once that is known, maybe...

Just a thought

ummm...what about S2000, or the many other Japanese sports cars...no way it's the 3rd fastest japanese car, maybe you meant Nissan.

The NSX is a has been.
And anywhere the 5.5 gen or 6th gen Maxima is rated, the Altima is right there beside it.

And don't forget the M45 and the Q45.

Overall I don't know of any clear winner. All of the NA cars listed here, minus the Kia and Supra, are pretty quick in stock form.

Mazda RX-8 is about a dead heat with the Max and it's N/A. Some reviews list it as fast as 14.4 in the 1/4 mile.

one car that I would think is fast, but is slow is the new Hyundai Tiburon. I did a quick web check and they are about like a 3rd gen (VE) Max in the 1/4 mile. Pa-the-tic. They look sporty...
