is this considered 2 1/2 inlet????
i have a ebay resonated straight pipe which i will be sending back and a budget b-pipe i just received today. Both are in great condition but i'm really anal about the inlet piping. I want it to be a definite 2 1/2 and both seem to be a little less. Here are the pics. Can you guys tell me if i'll be ok with this or not? espeically the straight pipe. I'm boosted BTW so i think i really need the small difference.

If you can read a ruler, yes. :) 2nd one is NOT 2.5". So there will be a restriction at that joint.
Cripes, your pics big enough? Either downsize those things or I'll lock it. |
lol working on that now. The ruler shows them at 2 1/4. You sure thats considered 2 1/2? i kept it that big so u guys can see.
|
Oops. Yes both 2.25" Pics are too damned big.
|
you don't know how to read a ruler?

OMG man, its budget. I thought budget only sells 2.5...well i measured the othe rpiping including the opposite side of the resonated section and they coem up to 2.5. Its just the straight pipe and the one side toe the b-pipe thats 2.25

return to sender................
|
yea, i already emailed the sender of the straight pipe. Its going back, and i purchased one for 97-99 max that specifically says 2.5" inlet. I also emailed him for reassurance but he is taking too long to respond but i'm impatient and hate waiting for one part to complete a setup so i just paid for it and hope he can ship it out fast....
|
I'm still worried about the budget one...its bigger than 2 1/4 but not 2 1/2...thats just the seperate part though wit the resonator...those of u that have bought the same, has this happened with yours as well? cause from what i remember they only sell 2 1/2
