Went to Etown this afternoon...
Only got 1 run in because they kicked me out....
(got kicked out cuz i had open exhaust...LOL)

Well...It's quite obvious now my exhaust was choking things up really bad...
I unbolted everything from the cat back...
and put a *dump* (so no muffler)...

Only run of the day (still running on 19" rims)...

R/T: .538 (pretty good)
60': 2.343 (horrible)
330': 6.178
1/8th: 9.285 @ 78.94 mph
1000': 11.954
1/4: 14.171 @ 101.18 mph (not bad)

The MPH shows that i should be running easy 13's....
But traction is still the problem...

NO SYNKI!! I WILL NOT PUT MY STOCK RIMS BACK ON! LOL

Sticking with the 19's until i get some slicks...
Should have slicks by the next event.

oh yea forgot to mention...

i also ran Brett's Maxima (AKA: Confused)...
couldnt better his time...
I ran a 14.9 @ just under 95mph...in his car...
I think with some more seat time it could go 14.8...
But it wasnt a bad run for my 1st time in the car...

I too have trouble with traction at the start. What rim and tire combination do you plan to get before the next event? Thanks...

I think I'll be going with either a 24.5" or 26" slick...
mounted on a 15x7 or 15x8 if i can find a pair...
most likely i'll just be going w/ a pair of cheap ($80) Konig Burner's in 15x7 cuz they're pretty light (16 lbs) and i can get them real cheap...

Adam, i knew that was coming. Well, since youa re at 101.18, you should be 13.9-13.8 We shall see what you can get with slicks. Hmm.. since Adam ran a 14.9 in Bretts car, does that mean it cant go faster? hehehe. j/k Brett.

BTW, good job guys.

Hey Adam, how much can you get the Burners for 16"?

remember, every 100 lbs less on the car is worth .1 seconds with Adam in the car, well, let's say Adam is about three times as big as me. hehe
