I put my stock muffler back on. My best et so far is a 14.9@93mph. My best mph is 94mph. My 60 foots are super slow 2.4s. Tomorrow night there will be about 70 modified GTPs running at KCIR.

To improve my launches, I bought some VHT traction compound and rear spring blockers. The VHT really does work on the street. We'll see how good it does on a rubber covered launch pad. The spring blockers will go in tonight. The weather should be in the 60s with about 40-50% humidity. I figure I've got the trap speed for some 14.6s if I can get a high 2.1 or low 2.2 60 foot. I'm debating on whether or not to powershift or not (I haven't in the past). I just want to make good showing at the track because most of the GTP guys don't believe a Max with just a intake, y-pipe, and 2.5" piping can come close to touching any GTP.

I'm shooting for a 14.7s@95mph.

What are your guesses?

i expect some mid 14's.....14.6-14.7. The weather should help a lot. I hope you represent us Maximas well. If I was still in Missouri I would have loved to come out and run with you.....

If nothing else maybe me, you, bryan, alex and whoever else could grab some dinner afterwards or something.. It depends on if I can get out there in time.. they usually shut down at like 10 right?... It'll take me 30mins to get out there.. so we'll see..

Alex will be there with his Max that recently got a Y-pipe, b-pipe, and RT cat. His prior best was a 16 something at 91. We're gonna put VHT on his tires to see if he can launch better. I don't know if Bryan is coming or not. I'll probably be near a guy bringing his heavily modded green 95 Firebird (virgin racer), a guy in a silver SHO, and Alex in his white Max.

My best runs are usually my first two. I could probably get 4-5 passes if I want. If I get a 14.6 or 14.7 I'll probably stop running. I don't like to beat up on my car that much.
