I installed some Hella Triple Airhorns. I followed the directions and have everything wired up correctly. But when I pressed the horn, it sounded and then stopped after a very short blast, even though I was still pressing on the horn.
I made sure to fuse everything and put in a 25A fuse as the instructions stated. And now, it doesn't sound at all. Any ideas as to what I can check or do? I'm pretty sure all the wiring is correct. |
If your 25A fuse is still intact then you may have blown a smaller fuse 'upstream'....
Where did you get you 12V power from... check there... |
The fuse is near the battery, but ... I went back and checked everything. Re-read the instructions and then checked the website.
And I should have remembered the lesson that my junior high school teacher told us. "Read everything first before doing anything." On Japanese cars, two of the pins on the relay have to be switched around. :bonk: Stupid me... now they work ... time to go scare some jaywalkers! |

Re: did you get the motivation last night
 Yeah ... plus the fact that I had a short school day, nice weather, and the possiblity of rain later in the week.
