finally did it after 3 1/2 yrs on 18's
I scraped my rear-left rim. I was leaving the bank and my wallet was kinda light after making a mortgage payment, and I heard a scraping sound as my wheel made contact with a concrete barrier (one of those that force you to make a sharp turn). I pulled over and though the rim was not bent, it was like shiny scraped aluminum was staring at me. I've parallel parked in NJ, NYC, Boston, Philly, DC, Canada, and it happens at my hometown bank!! Anyway, touched it up with some Volvo alloy wheel spray that's probably 25 years old, no joke, I think it's aerosol. It makes it way better than bare aluminum exposed. Then I drive into the garage and run over some BBQ tongs with jagged teeth.........DOH!! I was thinking of the how good of a driver do you think you are thread.........somedays we just S***!!!!! :slap:
