Flood Maxima's or others

Hey, be sure to look over your possible Maxima purchase very carefully.
There are 500,000 to 600,000 flood vehicles from N.O Katrina, and some are finding their way to people trying to resell them, just be wary of too good a deal and such. Many states have different rules on how flood titles are handled. (be careful of any other model vehicle for that matter)

I'm sure some might be barely damaged and some might be extensively damaged. If someone knows a site (insurance company probably)... then I wouldn't mind taking a look. :)

I dunno, flood cars are extremely tricky to figure out how extensive the damage is. It may look great after you clean it up, but electrical and other problems may pop up afterwards.

Forget that! With that toxic sludge in Nawlins, you don't know what the car was sitting in. Oil? Sewage? Medical waste? Antibiotic-resistant flesh-eating bacteria? God forbid if you cut yourself while repairing one of those flood cars.

Yea, I would be very weary of purchasing one that was in more than 6 inches of water. You'll end up getting corrosion in the wiring connectors after a while and figuring where it is would be a pain. Plus, those often present themselves as multiple other issues which would cause unneccesary expenditures until it is found.
