It has nothing to really do with being "poor as$" - it has to do with actually having taste.

rims didnt surprise me but i was expecting a multi color paint job and 10 degrees more of rice equipment....

i just dont understand, look at how the rims look on the car, why do people think its hot to have rims that look bigger than the actual car?

I think I've seen that blue one around too I prob laughed at him as well, we call them "jokers". Some people are just so desperate trying to fit in they use anything they can to get their car's too look like something out of a magazine. "Always Wait and Save"

The only Maxima you could put 22's on and will look clean. This is Tek_Niq's Car:
I wouldn't start off with a 74 chevy in 24s, not a good look for a classic car. Thats the south for ya, my friend has 20s on his Lincoln LS and with two people in the back on large bumps they rub, so 22s is kind of big for that car. Any truck with 26s ride like crap, 24s is more than big enough and rides 10 times better. Kind of sound like your friends are the jokers.... trying to fit the largest wheels possible....jump on the bandwagon.

I can understand to each their own, but that car is an abomination to 4th gen and the Maxima nameplate as a whole. Although, you gotta give the guy credit for his creativity.

My $.02!!

My goodness. Seeing that got me depressed and I'm going to call in sick to work. haha

People, rims only have one purpose. To vent the brake calipers and rotors.

Unless you are not into performance and racing. But that is just my opinion.

Hey Now....I don't bash Canada...oh wait, nevermind...

I am just surprised no one has metioned the "22s" sticker on the car. Thats what caught my eye. Another good thing is he probably doesnt need to put his car on ramps when he has to work underneath it

Imagine the wagon version with a lift like that...kinda gives you an idea of what a Maxima would look like as a hybrid SUV.

It's getting pretty bad now that certain car manufacturers are actually trying to make 19inch+ wheels a selling point.
