News Story on the Eagle RSA's (2004/5)
 

I dont post here much, but this is a news story about my 2004 Maxima and its defective tires. I also filed a report at consumer reports. I figured the community would like to know. I think what sparked a lot of interest was that I kept all 4 tires when I had them replaced. Just looking at the tires, I knew something was up.

While this isn't a an apology or admittance from the offending companies, hopefully it will start a ball rolling in getting these tires off the road.

Please, I've known those tires were junk since 1999.
Forget about the cracks, they simply don't hold the road anymore after 15,000 miles. Wet pavement is down right dangerous after they start to ware a bit. Worst tire I've ever run.

My nephew has an 04 Maxima SE. Guess what? Eagle RSA's and they are shot! Check out his pictures and thread under the tire thread.

Down right freaky that Goodyear calls this 'cosmetic'.
