I just brightened the corners with the rewire mod and put orange ones in. Here's a pic.

Hey Greg, how do you like your HIDs? Was it hard to install? Tell me about them, I might get a kit too.
Thanks.

Sonic Aug 14, 2001 08:43 AM

Hogan (Yo_its_ok) installed them in like 10 minutes yesterday. Work well, and compliemt the car well. They are actually the right height right now, no adjusting necessary. And boy, you can see EVERYTHING now. Now on to the foglights, I'm just leaving them off for right now.

Why Rewire when you can...

Why Rewire when you can do the same Mod in about 2 seconds..!
What I posted below is from a Post I started some time ago.

To see the full post go to: Just did the Signal Mod Here is the Vid

Or read this...

The Mods you will see are listed below along with the URL of the instructions on how to do them:

Signals

Rewired Fog Lights

Brighter Corners

As for the taillight well what I did was I switched my outer parking light to the turn signal and the turn signal to the reverse light and the reverse light to the outer parking light ... When I did this I never documented it sorry...

Here are the Vids:

Steve (DMBMaxima88) did it at Maxus one night with the rest of the MA/CT crews cars. Oh well, nice directions though.

Its the combo of the camera and the fact that I had just turned them on. After about 1 minute, they become a bluish purple color. If you notice the one on the right is clearer than the one on the left, but in actuality they are the same color.
Oh and my car is actually a very dark green, it may be reflecting the color.

medicsonic:

So you got HID! Isn't it great? Have you caught anybody checking out the lights yet? Well, they might be checking out those crazy rims you have... where'd you get 'em?

hogan is the man!

how much did he charge you for the HID's? Did you install the kit?

I remember someone saying there was an HID kit for 4th for like > 1,000.

clee130 Aug 15, 2001 09:13 PM

>$1000! Wow... talk about mark-up.

Yo_Its_Ok (Hogan) was selling them for around $475 or so.

He might have a couple of sets left.

I got mine from Yo_Its_ok (hogan) for $450 installed, but i think they go for like $475 now. When I put them in they made my corners look soooo bad. But megamax sold me some polargs and did his lil wattage mod and now they look really nice. They dont match the HID's perfect (hid's are more of a purple/white while the corners are blue/white) but they look really nice together. I'm also gunna put some amber bulbs in there like medicsonic did and see how they look in person. I can't take any pics because my alternator went the other day and well... i cant turn anything on :) But friday morning a new one goes in and friday night i'll have u fella's some pics of the whole setup. Later -Nine
