Have the KYB AGX Maxima shocks shipped yet or no? Anybody hear anything? I heard they were supposed to go on the 4th of Sept.

First week of October they arrive here....Tire Rack was dreaming when they claimed Sept. 4th.....

That means delivery into actual human hands in the middle/end of October.......

This again? I've been on this org for over 2.5 years and it's been the same thing over and over again, "the KYB AGXs will be out in September." Too bad many of you don't know this is the same thing the Tire Rack and KYB said in 1999, 2000, and now 2001. Do you see a pattern here?

I've been on the .org for quite a while (this isn't my original username) since I got my car the summer of 99 and I've never heard a single mention of KYB or TireRack.com claiming to have these before.

I only recall KYB promises to do it, not firm delivery dates confirmed by a couple of trustworth vendors here as is the case now.....:gotme:

But I've only been around 3 years......

the realistic date is late October..

What about JIC? I hear they have Coilovers for the Max but NOBODY has them or any information on them it seems. If you do, shoot it to me.

Who has said that October is the "real" date? Maybe Hell has frozen over :gotme: I sure would like some rear adjustable struts to compliment my front Konis.

Cattman, who has been on the phone with KYB several times, said late September. Then I saw a couple people say they were told the 4th and got a little optimistic, which is why I started this thread.

I know one of the guys at KYB and he asked his boss for me, he told me end of September they were shipping over from Japan. After that, who knows how long it's gonna be before regular guys get them. He showed me the AGX applications list and the Maxima was recently added, so this should be for real.

Well, hell must be getting a little chilly because several of our members who are actually in the know and have contacts (Cattman, Shadow, etc.) have all confirmed shipment from Japan in late September and delivery in early/mid October.

I don't consider Tire Rack reputable since they originally had August as a delivery date.......everyone knew they were dreaming on that one.
