where can i get AGX's?

i'm sick and tired of these tokicos! i made a huge mistake and bought them used from someone. today i noticed my left rear shock is leaking. yes, i'm the same guy that has the annoying right rear banging sound! i think i will replace the right upper shock mount also! so i need the best possible shocks asap. if you're from the south jersey area and know you can install shocks with relative ease please let me know. i can certainly use as much help as possible. i've wasted all my extra money on a garage trying to install the rears correctly (thinking it was the springs) twice and now they're blown anyway. so if you take payments of hard liquor, beer, or junk food i'm hiring! :p but first thing's first, i need those AGX's!

can somebody please walk me through the installation of fronts and rears? particularly with the use of spring compressors. i am left with no choice but to install them myself. never expected to be replacing my shocks only weeks after i got them (used of course). hard lessons learned, but it will be ok soon! i know i can do this as i've had the suspension part before.

yes, its true...

yep, its true. Just picked up a pick-up load today, with more on the way. I have seen them, felt them, tasted them...

they are real, not an apparition, and not a one-time group deal. they are simply "for sale".

$380/set.

Hey Brian ... so 6 months from now .. it'll still be $380/set? I don't really want to make the purchase now b/c it'll soon be winter in Toronto ...

Tkx!

Without intending to be cute or cagey about an answer, I can't tell you with certainty what any of my prices will be six months from now.

$380/set is an introductory price for the AGXs, how long it lasts and whether or not it becomes the regular retail price depends on the volume of sales and demand curve, price competition, other expense elements, etc. -- the usual factors that pricing decisions are based on.

I could see holding off on tires/wheels in the face of winter, but better struts are useful in any season -- keeping in mind that putting these on a car will not lower it a fraction of an inch.

tkx .. i have to find your post about the mod 4 the 5th gen fitment ... I quickly read it b4 .. but didn't understand it ... I'm sure then I'll be placing my order soon!

UMD_MaxSE Oct 14, 2001 12:18 PM

Brian,

Do you have preliminary prices on the raised strut mounts? I ordered a set of these last week for my 5th gen. I might as well get those strut mounts since I need them anyways :)

Thanks!
