AHH....I'm so mad right now......I almost just cought this smash/grab guy in our area

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some lowlife has been breaking into car windows.....smash and grab style. This has been going on for a couple weeks now...one a night. Even my friend who lives up the street had it happen to him. Situation: 1am: I get home...I go to get out of my car and notice some guy just standing on the sidewalk....hmm....kinda shady. I sit in my thinking..."whats this guy doing". I see he has a blanket in his hand but i figured he just garbage picked it. 1:30am: I just made a post UBRF (UB racing forum) about "comfy seats". I hear...BAM...woo woo woo woo. ****.....something bad just happend. I run downstairs as fast as I can. I go out the porch and see some black guy casualy walking down the street. What was I gonna do.....attack him? i'm small. I grab my cell, no sneakers btw, and jump in moms Police car.....err....aka Nissan Altima:) I drive around 2 blocks spot the guy......go around another block cuz its one way.....and he's gone. I got 911 on the phone.....telling them all this. They show up to my house...tell my story. They say they stopped 2 guys on a different street, but thats the oppisite side of where the guy was riding, plus he was alone. BTW: it was a real nice Jeep Cherokee Limited. It wasn't even our familys car but I can't stand this ****. I'm not going to sleep......I'm on full alert tonight. I check back in later. Mike S. |

Same thing happened to our street, twice. It was in bursts though, some guy would break into cars and not take anything (idiot). He broke into my old Mercury and pulled the buttons off the radio :rolleyes:

seriously, i have no patience for this **** since someone broke into my car last week and tried to steal it. hopefully i'll have her back in a day or two. |

well it happended around this time last night. The jeep is still there...the guy must be out of town. The little window that is part fo the back door got smashed. He's got some kind of cd case in there and other junk. I'm betting that I hear his alarm go off any minute. All bets are on this guy comming back and opening the door. No chasing tonight. I'll just call 911.
ps-I don't have the patience to sit in front of the window waiting for him to come. |
