Well I plan to get some touch up paint done on my bumper, side view mirror and my door. Oops I almost forgot. I need to order my clear front/rear bumper lights, chrome eye lids and cherry wood shift gear knob.

Once that's done, I plan to address my audio needs (Bose must go) and install a in dash unit.

Still not sure I want to drop it. Have to do more research on it before I decide.

^^^ a drop is almost a must... doesnt even matter how low, just drop it on suttn lol

Maybe I will drop the front about 1" or 1.5". As long as the ride is not compromised too much.

'09 Plans: Stillen body-kit, replacing damaged body-parts (both fenders, hood, grill, and front bumper cover), redoing all the gaskets (bout time; I got 250,000mi on the car), getting some euro lights smoked over for the front, finishing my stereo setup, wheels and tires (hopefully G35 17"s if I can find em cheap), replacing all four corners with GR2 struts (planned for next week), then it's paint prep, primer, and MAACO!

keep my 97 gxe and do work as far as looks and get a 5.5 gen 6 spd and do crazy stuff to it as far as engine and for outside looks maybe just lips all around projectors and some nice rims and of course tints

So much to do so much to do..

I plan to do a little modding to my almost perfect 2000 GLE

So far the list consists of:

-30% Window Tint all around, Limo on the sunroof
-18" Black Rims, W a touch of chrome to match my chrome door handles
(I havent found the right set just yet...)
-I plan to replace the entire Bose system: Speakers, Head Unit, and Subwoofer, to perhaps a Poineer touch screen Head Unit, and Kicker Subs with a rockford amp? Not sure yet
-Injen Cold Air Intake
-Platinum Spark Plugs
-Perhaps a Catt Exhaust? I Def. wanna get rid of that old stock exhaust.
-Change my interior gauges to light up Blue at night.
-Change my interior door lights with Blue LED's
-Change my Ignition Key light to LED Blue
-Replace stock headlights with Angel Eye Halo Headlights in a black housing with 8000k LED bulbs
Touch up paint- for a few dings from parking lot idiots and also one MAJOR idiot who hit me from behind while at a light. He was driving a riced up honda and claims his clutch got stuck, however the hit did leave a smudge of his dingy white paint on my bumper and of course, I didnt have collision at this time. ( I do now..lesson learned.)

So far this is all i can think of. I have a fully loaded Stock GLE 2000 with almost 140k on it and it runs like new. This car def seems like something that is worth investing in. If anyone has any suggestions feel free...

After June my modding days are about done. The only other thing I will be purchasing for the Max after that will be some engine dress-up items and Tein SS. Fingahs crossed...

my plans are struts,tires, paint,battery,tinting side marker lights,tinting fogs yellow,painting calipers,paint interior trim tan,hid headlights,custom 2 1/4'' catback exhaust without resonator,hopefully some new 19''s

just getting started so i thought i would do the headers and y pipe first. bought them now i just have to install them. after that it will be small things for now. putting in the deck this weekend. i want to do the headlight mod and add leds on the interior. smoke markers soon to come

Just ordered the new rotors and pads. The Y-pipe is on backorder. Man do i have the modbug itch... probably ordering F/R sway bars and endlinks as well as front strut bar and new shocks and struts... hopefully all done in a months time!!! :D:D:D

Just a body kit, and new wheels. Maybe some custom artwork on the hood, but I'm still undecided depends on how the car looks after the body kit.

Install my stereo, fix my AC, fix my CV joint, install my black bumper lights, buy/install fogs, do something with my headlights and finally get some tail lights, then I'm pretty much done.

It could stand having a new input shaft bearing installed in the tranny. Other than that, one day I will get around to putting discs on the back to go a little better with the beefy front brake setup.

The Maxima has been semi-retired, as it's new stablemate has been getting most of the attention lately...
