How do these thieves break wheel locks?
Lets start by saying Im not a theif, Ive been here long enough and some of you know and have seen me around in my max. Anyways my girlfriend has a 2008 Tl-Type S and it was hit a few months ago. Sad thing but whatever they took the wheels right off her car while it was in the driveway. anyways driving around my neighbor hood I passed another acura on blocks yesterday. So had a discussion agian with my girl and she tells me they hit a Dodge charger which also had wheel locks. Now I was wondering how would the be able to break this locks without the use of powertools? I think it might be a compressed gas but compressed to the extent where its become a liquid but not sure as it even if thats right or which gas. Anyone know how this works?

Whatever the technique is, it shouldn't be out in the open and discussed IMO.
Get a better security system with tilt. As soon as your car changes a couple degrees from them lifting it, your car alarm will go off. And get super loud sirens. Not fullproof by any means, but it's a deterrent.
Research which wheel locks are the best and hardest to bypass.
Insure your aftermarket goodies.
