What's most important in Maxima meets including Maxus??
 

What do your prefer content (events, track, dyno) or Numbers (200 maxes showin' up somewhere and hangin out chatting.

I mean, you could have 1 car show up with every mod on it but how would that look?

i think number rules over content to a certain extent..

you need a certain number to carry content..

you can have a track, dyno, bbq with 10 maxima's and it would be boring..

but then you can have a bbq with 100 maxima's and it would be fine ..

Well if you say content, I think your talking about the quality of the meet. I know for myself, I want to see a lot of cars show up at the meets to see different things and to bug with the fellas. If there are activities, that helps too. But, if you get 10 cars at a major meet, that would be a waste.

Numbers are always more important. I don't know about you all, but I go to a meet to hang with the person, not the car.

Some people go to hang IN the car.

Never been to one (the SE is very slow with meets) but I would definitely be drawn more by a large number of people than a specific car.

is I prefer a meet with something to do rather than staring at mods I've seen a million times... "Wow a supercharger, loooooook" . I'd like to see those mods actually doing something besides spinning out in a parking lot. Of course doing such thing legally cost us an arm and a leg which most of us don't have.

I do enjoy meeting the ppl as Medsonic mentioned and hangin out. I love going to other states and hookin' up whether it's a meet or just me being out of town on business or pleasure but what I don't really like is doing that "one day thing" of driving up and back in the same day, well unless there is a BBQ #;>)..

The number of cars at a meet are nice especially those NY numbers but at the largest NY meet I got a little restless and bored. At the DC Meet 2000(Dyno event) I got bored too so I guess I need some kind of happy medium..LOL!!

Maxus in Atl was very small, ~20 max's, IMHO. But I had fun overall and enjoyed the prizes.. Maxus in DC was cool too but a little hectic for me to really enjoy.

I don't think other car clubs do as much as we do/have done except those with big money like Porche and Ferrari.. sooooooo if you build it, we will come!! #;>)

Oh and for those above the Mason Dixon Line.. To us southern area ppl BBW stands for Black Bike Week which is an event in South Carolina.. Do a search for about 20 mins and you'll see what I'm talkin' about.. LOL!!

Well, I think we should be having meets at the time of big events in the country. I would love to have a meet in Florida for Spring Break or in Louisiana for Marti Gras. There will be other things to do rather than just driving and looking at Maximas.

My ideal meet would be a track day at a road course... Road Atlanta perhaps. There are companies who rent out tracks and only require a helmet to get out on the track racing. Sure, we won't perform like a horde of Ferraris but it would be a hell of a lot of fun. I would be happy to drive 5 hours there and back if we could get something like this, it's a minor dream of mine to race around a course like Road Atlanta.

I wouldn't mind a Madigra Meet!!! Takes a lot of planning or we just all show up and hope to see each other.

In Daytona you can drive and park on the beach... I can just picture a sea of Maximas taking over the beach. Sure, the chicks would flock to the group of Bimmers next to us, but we can always lean on them and pretend they're ours. :laugh:
