Courtesy FSTB fit's 02's and AE pedals don't fit{kinda}.

Today I installed my 00-01 Courtesy nissan FSTB, it just barely cleared the intake manifold by about 1mm. At first it was rubbing then I removed the bar and loosened it a tad and now it fit's perfectly! Now the AE gas pedal is of a different designe because the 2002 no longer uses a throttle wire. So I had to remove the gas pedal from my AE lever and install it on my oem gas pedal lever. When it was all said and done it fit pretty well, but it's just little wably, very little. The other pedals of course fit fine but they were a real beatch to get on! My left shoulder is killing me.

The pedals look great and the FSTB added a nice touch to the handiling characterstics of the car. I would post a few pics but photo point dissapeared a few day's ago and I have no clue what's up with that, I even payed them $20 for a year's worth of photo hosting to avoid crap like this, argh.

Paul D just installed his FSTB and RSB on his 6spd on Sunday and it looks pretty good and helps big time. Both him and Rick and putting H&R on their cars this friday as well! If you guys don't already have them you should install and intake as well.

What RSB did you go with? The Addcco (sp?) didn't fit well on the 2K2 that I saw it on.

i got my stilled RSB to fit butt i don't want to get a POP. i want something with a tube. i might get a CAI and use half of it and think about the second half.

I have the Addco RSB on. While it was not easy to install it definatly fit on perfectly after some time. The U brakets were a little bit to narrow for a easy install, I had to work them in place and tap em with a hammer.

Steve, after seeing the dyno Phatguy's friend did I decided to just get a Stillen Intake. The guy picked up like 8-9 HP with his intake and muffler, I think the intake gave about 90% of the gains. I think this all the Power adding mods I am going to install, atleast for a while. I just wanted to have more HP then the damn TL-S's  .

Well if you really don't want to pay more money, drill in your fender well, and have to worry about a bypass valve..water and crap etc.. Go with the Pop charger intake. Proven gains as well. I have a POP on my 2k1 and I took a 3" or 4" in diameter heavy duty flex tube (used for rain drain on a house). I cut a lip on one end (to help induce air) then installed it so the lip is just under the splash guard and angled it up to point right at the intake. I used small ties to install it and I feel it works great since my intake has never even been really warm after driving hard. The tube I used also had very small slits in it so it will give good air flow through that part of the engine bay as well. The faster you go the more cool air is blown on it (from below the splash guard). Bout 2 bucks for the mod with a 10 min install.

I believe so but I think the install bracket is different but not sure? Check with Stealin or Paul at Avalon Racing.

Is there any word on PR CAI? Id rather go cold than hot.

But damn I feel so slow trying to get my mods together. All I have ordered is clear side markers and strut. I need more money :(

I had my father rev my engine while I watched for clearance. The engine moved back and forth, not up and down, so it will never actually hit the intake manifold. I drove the car a bit too and the FSTB never comes in contact with anything.

that's good to know ethan. i think i might wiat for a CAI to come out. i like the flexibilty of the tube and i can use just half of it if i want.
