Can you drive without the valve cover's cover on?

I just painted my valve cover's cover (the one that says "Nissan"), and I want to give it plenty of time to dry. Are there any hazards in driving without this on?
Thanks,
Cyrus

You can drive w/o it. It is cosmetic. I drove w/o mine for a bit when i was testin my NOS and checkin teh plugs. Im sure it gets annoying. :)

Very cosmetic, Solaras/Tacomas don't have covers on theirs, it's weird to look at those engines when you're used to looking at the VQ, which has the plasic cover pon it, you look at thiers and Yuck! looks all plain an stuff
